For this apartment renovation, the goal was to give the space a clean, modern feel while preserving some of the original features that still had plenty of life left in them. By combining new finishes with carefully refreshed existing elements, we transformed the apartment into a bright, updated home that's both functional and timeless.
Fresh Flooring Throughout
One of the biggest transformations came from installing new vinyl plank flooring throughout the apartment.
The warm flooring immediately brightened the space, creating a seamless flow from room to room while offering the durability and easy maintenance that's ideal for everyday living and rental properties.
Giving the Existing Cabinets New Life
Rather than replacing perfectly functional cabinetry, we helped the homeowner maximize their investment by refinishing and painting the original cabinets.
The updated blue-gray finish completely changed the look of the kitchen while maintaining its unique character. Paired with fresh countertops, updated hardware, and modern lighting, the kitchen now feels contemporary while still respecting the building's original charm.
Sometimes a quality paint job can have just as much impact as brand-new cabinetry.
Custom Kitchen Improvements
To complete the kitchen makeover, we also installed a new range hood and custom hood surround, creating a clean focal point above the cooking area.
Open shelving and updated finishes helped modernize the kitchen while keeping it functional and inviting.
A Bold Bathroom Upgrade
The bathroom received one of the most dramatic updates of the project.
Large black tile now surrounds the bathtub and shower, creating a sleek, high-end appearance with minimal grout lines for easier maintenance. We also installed a recessed shower niche for convenient storage while maintaining the clean design.
Combined with updated plumbing fixtures, fresh paint, and new flooring, the bathroom feels significantly larger and more luxurious.
